By leveraging blockchain technology, eTEU not only streamlines document management but also facilitates the secure transfer of ownership rights to cargo on-chain. The eTEU on-chain Electronic Bill of Lading (eBL) has been officially approved by the IGP&I, ensuring its legal recognition as a paper-equivalent, enabling automation and streamlining of administrative processes which traditionally rely on the handover of the paper Bill of Lading.
