The Estabrook Absolute Return Fund seeks meaningful outperformance of the risk-free rate over rolling 10 year periods, while seeking lower volatility and reduced risk to principal, compared with equity investments. Our global, multi-strategy approach allocates our investments among underlying fund managers with stable growth patterns and low volatility as opposed to hedge funds with more aggressive growth patterns, but high level of volatility. The underlying funds invest in a broad range of strategies which may include event driven, equity long/short, distressed debt, merger arbitrage, credit long/short, real estate and special investments. SidePorch Capital Fund I is a new offering that will allocate capital to invest in early and mid-stage opportunities in food, water and energy systems, building the foundation for future, sustainable economies. We will invest in fund managers with strong track records, aligned investment philosophies, and the ability to provide strategic value to their portfolio companies. Importantly, we seek managers with effective evaluation systems for financial and ESG factors, and from these systems we intend to draw insights of interest to both our managers and LPs.
