Essium Labs builds Xenqu — an AI-native platform that collects, verifies, and closes out the documents, forms, and data other people owe your business. For over a decade, Essium ran Xenqu as the document-collection backbone for 60+ enterprise teams handling employee onboarding, driver qualification, vendor compliance, and more. Watching those teams work made one thing clear: the hard part was never storing a document — it was chasing it. Someone always ended up playing document detective: emailing and texting the same person three times, checking by hand whether a file was legible or expired, answering the same question for the fifth time. That's the problem we rebuilt Xenqu to solve. Xena, Xenqu's AI teammate, doesn't wait for someone to remember to upload something — she sends the request, follows up automatically until it's done, and checks what comes back, flagging anything expired, fraudulent, or incomplete before it ever reaches a human. Xenqu today serves teams across staffing and vendor onboarding, trucking and DOT compliance, home care, and immigration — anywhere a business depends on collecting things from other people: licenses, W-9s, IDs, signed forms, certifications, and more. We're a small team building the tool we always wished existed: one that actually does the chasing, instead of just recording that someone should.
