Escavox tracks fresh foods (fresh produce, meat, seafood and dairy products) to provide visibility of the cold chain, making it easier to see temperature and dwell time issues and allowing for corrective actions to be taken. This leads to reduced rejections and loss, which in turn reduces the need to hold safety stock; overall the outcomes are improved quality and reduced waste. Our service allows data across the platform to be aggregated, to provide unique insights into the journeys of your product. For producers and retailers, it provides the opportunity to improve the performance of your brand and the satisfaction of your customers. Our solution is a low cost, easy use, automated supply chain tracking service to demonstrate the cool chain integrity of product as it moves through the supply chain. The grower/producer places an Excavox blue-box (tracker) in a carton at harvest / packing. As the produce moves through the supply chain, the device continually updates time, temperature and location and is shared in real time. The retailer then removes the device at retail shelf. Information is captured from the blue-box, analysed (based on specific requirements of the product type) and shared with appropriate permissions.
