Esbie helps people take their business online with beautiful, functional websites. Esbie cares about websites that work, websites that people love to use, and websites that support commerce and creativity. My name is Sarah and I am a freelance web developer, user-experience designer and marketing-tech support BFF to individuals, businesses and organisations. I have a contagious passion for everything the internet has to offer, and my super power is my ability to leverage my knowledge of the internet, web design and web software with my natural and learned abilities for communication. I started Esbie in 2012 to work with very small and emerging enterprises, as well as non-profits and community organisations, to get online with simple websites. Since then, I have worked with over 50 clients in Australia and internationally, in various sectors from startups to SME, and across various markets (hospitality, health, homewares, employment, fashion, software, pets...the list goes on). The thread that ties all of my projects together are interfaces that people love to use and solid technology behind those interfaces that makes things work. Now Esbie is focussed on helping businesses automate their processes using the web. This could be an online store to sell your physical or digital products; a marketing site to advertise your bricks-and-mortar location; or something more complicated like a membership and subscription application. Whatever it is, functional web technology is blended with beautiful design to draw users in and keep them coming back. Esbie works on a project/contract basis, and depending on the scope of the project, may involve other creatives to bring in flavoursome visual elements, delicious written copy and rock-solid back-end solutions.
