Eric Liddell Centre Information

The ELC was founded in memory of the Olympic gold medallst portrayed in the film “Chariots of Fire”. Eric believed in serving his local community. Local residents to set up the Centre dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and supporting people of all ages, cultures and abilities, as an expression of compassionate values. We operate a range of projects including a registered day care service for people with dementia and a project for carers that provides free educational, social and health based courses. We also provide office space for other charities and suites to hire for over 180 other groups providing activities for the community.
