The Abbey Theatre is Ireland's National Theatre.
The Abbey Theatre, founded by W.B. Yeats and Lady Gregory, first opened its doors in 1904 to ‘bring upon the stage the deeper thoughts and emotions of Ireland’. Since then, it has played a vital and often controversial role in the literary, social and cultural life and landscape of Ireland. The Abbey’s reputation for presenting world-class productions has made it an ambassador for Irish arts and culture at home and abroad.

The Irish Chamber Orchestra is Ireland’s most dynamic ensemble, combining high quality performances with an expansive artistic vision.
Founded in 1970 and funded by The Arts Council of Ireland/An Chomhairle Ealaíon, the ICO mixes traditional repertoire with new commissions and collaborates with everyone from DJs to dance companies.
Each year, we present concert seasons in Limerick and Dublin, embark on two national tours, and make a series of prestigious international appearances supported by Culture Ireland.
In addition to being one of Ireland’s greatest cultural ambassadors, we are also a charitable organisation. At the heart of our vision is the belief that music is for everyone. Our ground breaking Community Outreach programmes, ICO Schools and the ICO Youth, provide free music education to children and young people living in the regeneration areas of Limerick. These life enhancing programmes offer opportunities for young people, developing key life skills, and providing tangible long-term benefits for participants, their families and the wider community.
