Since 1996, Erbaviva has held one belief: what you put on your body should be as pure as what you put in it. Founded by Robin Brown and Anna Cirronis in Topanga Canyon, California, Erbaviva was one of the first certified organic personal care brands in the United States. Forbes called us the brand that “pioneered organic skincare long before it was trendy.” Thirty years later, our collection of more than 100 products for pregnancy, baby and body lives well across the professional spa channel as well as the retail space, with a presence in key international markets. Everything we sell, we make ourselves at our solar-powered, organic-certified facility in Los Angeles. We source directly from organic and biodynamic farmers and distillers worldwide, extract botanicals through steam distillation, CO2 extraction and cold pressing to preserve their therapeutic potency, and formulate, fill and finish in-house. That control has earned certifications few companies hold together: USDA Organic (since 2006), Cosmos Organic, Demeter Biodynamic® (2009, among the first in U.S. personal care) and Certified B Corporation (since 2010). R&D + CONTRACT MANUFACTURING The facility we built to protect our own standard now produces for a select group of partner brands.
