Equitable Minds is a youth development organization that creates developmental learning experiences for young people and the adults who support them. We believe postsecondary planning is about more than getting young people through the college application process. It’s an opportunity for them to think more deeply about who they are, what matters to them, what they can imagine for their lives, and how the decisions they make now connect to the futures they want to build. Our work brings together Youth Development, Practitioner Development, and Design Studio. We work directly with young people as they explore and make decisions about what comes next, while also supporting the practitioners and organizations responsible for creating meaningful developmental experiences for them. That might look like a postsecondary learning experience with students, helping practitioners strengthen how they facilitate and hold space, or working alongside an organization to think more intentionally about its curriculum and program design. At the center of our work is a simple belief: young people deserve experiences that help them feel seen, explore what’s possible, and make intentional decisions about their futures. Education Without Boundaries means recognizing that learning and development happen everywhere, through our experiences, relationships, conversations, and the spaces we create for one another.
