Equestrian Queensland Competitors

The Racing Queensland Board trading as Racing Queensland provides a platform to service the racing industry across the 3 codes of racing. Racing Queensland's focus is on the provision of governance and services to the industry while empowering clubs to manage and administer their own facilities. RQ seeks to reduce the administrative burden and associated costs to the industry. In April 2016, the Queensland Government passed the Racing Integrity Act 2016 (Qld), which transfers certain functions relating to the integrity of persons and animals involved in the racing industry from Racing Queensland to the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC). At the same time, the Queensland All Codes Racing Industry Board was renamed Racing Queensland Board.

Equestrian Australia (EA) is a recognised National Sporting Organisation and the governing body for equestrian sport in Australia. EA offers programs to members from grassroots participation right through to elite. A sport that attracts members aged 6 to 66 years old, equestrian sport appeals to a large cross section of the population. One of the few Olympic sports where men and women compete on equal terms, it is also the only sport that involves two athletes - horse and rider.

World Horse Welfare, the leading international horse charity, is dedicated to promoting horse welfare worldwide.
