Health AI is only as good as the evidence it learns from, and sex- and gender-specific clinical evidence rarely makes it into the models being trained today. It exists in published research and regulatory filings, but sits too deep in methods sections and supplements for systems that read only abstracts. EQUAL CARE® builds the clinical evidence infrastructure that fixes this: a machine-readable, source-traceable Data Layer that turns existing sex- and gender-specific clinical evidence into a resource health AI can actually use. A three-level annotation engine structures the evidence; every finding is validated by experts, and has full traceability before it enters the layer. We work with life science and Health AI, pharma and MedTech R&D, and clinical copilots: any team that needs clinical evidence it can demonstrate is representative, and that supports the data governance requirements of Article 10 of the EU AI Act. Recognized with the Reuters Pharma Innovation Startup Award 2025. Academic partners include Hochschule Niederrhein. Sex and gender are our entry point.
