Epitonic.com was founded in 1999 and quickly became a Webby-winning Wired Reader's Poll (for best music site) nominated company. Epitonic specialized in offering the best collection of free and legal carefully curated underground music MP3's on the Internet. The company was acquired and then the site went away for several years. Epitonic was relaunched in 2011 by one of the original founders with much help by the original team. The relaunch was celebrated by the tech community, music professionals, and most of all music fans. With a small team of dedicated contributors, Epitonic once again focuses on featuring the best free and legal downloads on the Web, and now also focuses on exclusive content production through live sessions and helping artists release music.
