Eos Cares Information

Since 2016, the basketball club IK Eos has built up a social sustainability program "Eos Cares", with the original aim of opening up the association to all residents and community groups in Lund, as well as developing the Eoshallen into a meeting place for integration, language training and social establishment. The business has gradually spread far beyond Eoshallen, and Eos Cares today runs activities all over the municipality of Lund and also around the region. Over 2,500 unique individuals participate annually, making Eos Cares one of the Swedish sports movement's largest social initiatives. Eos Care's operations are divided into the Swedish-speaking program Prisma with a focus on the integration of new arrivals, and the English-speaking program Eos Social Hub with a focus on the inclusion of everyone in Lund who is looking for support and social connections. Efforts for Ukrainian refugees have also been added to the latter.
