EON Foundation Information

EON Foundation is a WA based not-for-profit organisation that delivers a food and nutrition focused healthy lifestyle and disease prevention program. EON's Thriving Communities Program is now established and proven in 24 Aboriginal remote communities in Western Australia and has just expanded to three new communities in the Northern Territory. EON is invited by schools and communities to partner with them for up to five years to build edible gardens that supply fresh vegetables, fruits and bush tucker foods and deliver a hands-on practical gardening, nutrition education, cooking and hygiene program. EON was recognised in the Prime Minister's 2018 Closing the Gap Report as an outstanding local solution that is delivering exciting outcomes - leading to healthier lives.
