EN（縁）は、「人と人との意味あるつながり」や「巡り合わせ」を表す日本の概念「縁」に着想を得て設立されました。偶然の出会いが信頼や理解へと育ち、長期的な関係へと発展していく——EN（縁）は、そのような持続的なつながりを育むことを目的としています。 現在、日豪関係は経済・戦略・文化の各分野において深化を続けています。EN（縁）は、そうした時代背景のもと、Victoria における日本とオーストラリアの架け橋となることを目指すプラットフォームです。 形式的なネットワーキングを目的とするのではなく、Business・Culture・Community を三つの柱とし、対話と相互理解を通じて、信頼に基づく関係構築を重視しています。人と人が自然につながり、その関係が時間とともに成熟していく環境を整えることが、EN（縁）の役割です。 EN（縁）は、オーストラリア在住の日本人、日本と関わりを持つオーストラリア人、そして日豪関係に関心を持つすべての方々に開かれています。参加者は、駐在員、学生、ワーキングホリデー滞在者、長期居住者など、多様な背景を有し、それぞれの経験や視点を尊重しながら交流しています。 その代表的な取り組みが、毎月第3木曜日に開催される「KinoKai」です。対話を中心としたこの定例会は、自然な形での出会いと継続的な関係構築を促す場として位置づけられています。 参加費は無料です。 EN（縁）は、長期的な信頼と協力関係を築く場として、皆さまのご参加を歓迎いたします。 EN (縁) was established in inspiration of the Japanese concept of meaningful connection — the idea that encounters, when nurtured with care, can develop into lasting and trusted relationships. At a time when the Australia–Japan relationship continues to deepen across economic, strategic and cultural dimensions, EN serves as a platform in Victoria dedicated to strengthening those connections. Rather than focusing on transactional networking, EN is structured around three pillars: Business, Culture, and Community. Through dialogue and shared experience, it seeks to foster relationships grounded in mutual respect, long-term trust, and thoughtful engagement. EN is open to Japanese professionals living in Australia, Australians connected to Japan, and individuals interested in the evolving Japan–Australia relationship. Our participants represent a diverse cross-section of expatriates, students, working-holiday participants, long-term residents and cross-cultural professionals. A core initiative of EN is its monthly gathering, KinoKai, held on the third Thursday of each month. Designed as a space for meaningful dialogue, it encourages relationships to form naturally and develop over time. Participation is free. EN welcomes those who value depth, continuity, and long-term collaboration within the Australia–Japan community.
