This US based investment company was created to invest in early stage Central European environmental projects (such as solar, wind, waste water, solid & liquid wastes, sustainable energy and recycling), and companies operating sustainably in all sectors of the economy (clean technology). EIP III's target investees usually have at least 2 years of operating experience and management with a strong track record of success and profitability. Given its focus on early stage and Central European investments the EIP III investment company will invest € 0.1 million to € 1.0 million per project. EIP III often seeks local co-investors to invest alongside it for similar amounts. EIP has participated in the founding of such well known firms as Continental Wind Partners LLC, Organica Kft, Praterm SA, GazVest RO, AES Solar Croatia, Detox SRO etc.
