Environmental Defender's Office Western Australia Information

The Environmental Defender's Office Western Australia (EDOWA) is a not-for-profit community legal centre specialising in public interest environmental law. The EDO WA began operating in September 1995, with volunteers from the environmental movement and the legal and environmental professions, who were concerned at the lack of legal advice and representation available to individuals and community groups seeking to protect the environment. Our services include: •providing community groups and individuals with legal advice and representation on environmental issues, •promoting environmental law reform, and •undertaking community legal education.
