Envirocal's principal Bonnie ('Bo') Dash is a technical editor and document specialist with three decades of professional experience. Bo is a recognized expert in the editing, formatting, and production of environmental, engineering, geoscience, and other technical documentation. In 2013-2014, Bo was one of the primary technical editors on two high-profile engineering/design proposals for the following projects: (1) Westside Subway Extension of the Metro Purple Line, for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority; and (2) LaGuardia Airport Central Terminal Building Replacement Project (now known as LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment Program), for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Each of these proposal efforts involved multiple stakeholders, and each was undertaken by an international consortium of environmental, construction, design engineering, capital asset management, and operational consultants. Over the past decade, Bo has provided extensive technical editing services on various documents related to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's Water System Improvement Program - one of the largest water infrastructure programs in the United States. In 2010-2011, Bo performed substantive editing of the World Water Development Report, 4th Edition for the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization. In the mid-2000s, she was the sole technical editor of the Elliott State Forest Management Plan for the Oregon Department of Forestry. Bo also conducted the technical manuscript review of the reference manual MTBE: Effects on Soil and Groundwater Resources, published in 2001, for the Independent Environmental Technical Evaluation Group. Envirocal is affiliated with the Association of Earth Science Editors and the Bay Area Editors Forum, and is registered as a women-owned small business with the GSA's System for Award Management (formerly the federal Central Contractor Registration database).
