Congo Initiative is an envisioned community of Christ-centered Congolese leaders and global partners united for the transformation of lives and a flourishing Democratic Republic of Congo. Empowered by this vision, Congo Initiative educates ethical leaders who have integrity; invests in a sustainable vibrant Congolese society; and develops grassroots initiatives for peace, hope, and justice. In this vision, we are together—being transformed to transform.

Congo Aid Inc. was created to provide emergency and project support of the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Providing support and assistance for the financial, medical and educational needs of the men, women and children of the DRC. Congo Aid Inc. members in collaboration with Muhindo Isesomo and Albert Baliesima coordinate the work on the ground in the DRC in the schools, clinics, orphanages or where needed. Congo Aid Inc. works with individuals, companies, corporations, schools and aid agency to support the DR Congo.

Congo Progress was initially known as the United States Fizi-Itombwe Development Association, incorporated on April 28, 2007 by the immigrants and refugees from the Fizi-Itombwe Territorys living in the United States. The organization has grown to include other refugees and immigrants from all over Congo and hence the name was proposed to be changed to Congo Progress in April of 2014.
