Western Millwork Ltd was created in 1996 to be a supplier of high quality custom architectural woodwork. Since that time we have expanded into all aspects of commercial, industrial, institutional and residential woodwork. In 2000 we initiated a partnership with Motor Coach Industries to produce plywood floor boards for their New-Jersey coach contract. There were special needs required by this customer and therefore we embarked on a quality control program to ensure conformance to their standards. The following four years that we supplied this contract, monthly reports indicated a 100% conformance review, one we are extremely proud of. As one of only a few ISO accredited Millwork companies in North America, we work to control all of our process inputs and outputs. With the addition of both solid lumber processing and final finishing departments in 2006, we tightly manage all aspects of the manufacturing through to their final installation to meet our customer’s unique requirements with rigid internal quality controls. Lean manufacturing principles ensure that we tightly control costs allowing us to provide solid value to our customers. Our membership in AWMAC further ensures that the quality of the materials and the method of fabrication used to produce these products, does conform to the standards set out in the manual.
