Enspired Solutions® is a women-owned and women-led startup established to tackle one of the most pressing environmental issues worldwide. Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of synthetic chemicals that have been widely used for more than 60 years to make firefighting foams, coatings, and lubricants. Due to their high stability in natural environments, PFAS are also called “forever chemicals.” Current applied technologies capture PFAS in carbon or resin that require disposal elsewhere. These methods risk re-introducing PFAS into the environment when disposal methods fail. At Enspired Solutions, we are commercializing a USEPA-award winning, patented technology that permanently destroys PFAS in water and returns them to non-toxic molecular components without the need for off-site disposal. Our technology destroys PFAS, mitigates liability, and shifts the PFAS lifecycle to a waste-free system. We call our technology the PFASigator®.
