Ensight Skills Center Information

The Ensight Skills Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides visual rehabilitation. We are the only service of our kind in Colorado and the low vision community depends on us to help clients regain and preserve independence and quality of life. We are always excepting donations and would love an opportunity to talk to you about program sponsorships. Ensight Skills Center serves anyone having difficulty with activities of daily living related to visual impairment. Vision impairments have many causes. Some of the most common causes of visual loss are degenerative eye diseases like Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, and Diabetic eye disease. In most cases, there are no medical treatments that will bring vision back. This is when visual rehabilitation services come into play. The idea of visual rehabilitation is to help people best utilize their remaining vision with the help of assistive technologies and adaptive aids. Ensight's mission is to provide clients with low vision and their families with adaptive techniques, training, support, tools, and products to maintain independent lifestyles and ensure safety in their home and workplace environments.
