ENSEMBLE aims to equip LEAs with cutting-edge technologies to combat cybercrime through innovative tools and techniques developed based on user-centric criteria, best practices in current investigation processes, and identified gaps. After understanding cybercriminal methods and identifying gaps in current investigations and user needs, ENSEMBLE will use these insights to develop a Toolbox. This ToolBox will be designed for the advanced detection, identification, acquisition, processing, analysis, and correlation of various types of data related to cybercrime. OUR MISSION The ENSEMBLE project aims to combat cross-border cybercrime using advanced AI-based technology, multi-stakeholder investigation processes, training, and awareness. 1- Understanding cybercrime: Using and developing AI-based technologies to support the fight against cybercrime activities. 2- Covering LEAs needs: Developing powerful tools to combat cybercrime. 3- Cross-border intelligence and collaboration: Developing mechanisms to share intelligence across borders effectively is significant for the ENSEMBLE’s mission. METHODOLOGY - Analyze the threat landscape and the methods, technologies, and techniques used by cybercriminals. - Increase the understanding of cybercrimes and improve the knowledge on how to tackle sophisticated attacks. - The research will be based on both desktop research and data collected from semi-structured questionnaires and interviews with relevant stakeholders. - The ENSEMBLE project will follow an end-user-centered approach. - Identifying and collecting end-user requirements, along with a clear specification of the legal and ethical framework.
