Ensemble Information

Ensemble was founded in 2000 by David Hodes. David had previously lived in South Africa and held numerous top-level executive positions in the manufacturing and refrigeration industries. During this time, David witnessed first hand the ineffective work practices that limit the potential of work environments throughout the world. David was convinced there was a better way, and he began to research and study experts from around the world in the fields of project management and organisational development. David implemented and developed these approaches, over time developing a unique approach to projects and portfolios that repeatedly delivered exceptional results. Upon migrating to Australia in late 1999, David had one vision: to help other organisations unleash the potential they sacrificed by operating with poor systems of management. David established the Theory of Constraints Centre of Australia (TOCCA) in 2000, which worked with a number of clients primarily in the realm of project management and scheduling. As the team and methodology evolved, David came to a realisation: Truly optimising enterprise performance requires more than project management methodologies or software. These things were crucial, but the additional elements of people, culture and vision were what truly inspired peak performance. A great organisation would be like a musical ensemble, with people, processes and technology playing harmoniously in perfect unison to create something genuinely awe-inspiring. With this vision in mind, the company re-branded as Ensemble in 2008. Over the years, Ensemble has established itself as a forward-thinking, results-driven organisation that delivers tangible, bottom-line performance improvements.
