Enlight's mission is to build technology that makes lighting infrastructure efficient and low maintenance whilst creating a connectivity platform for innovation and value creation. It is building an IoT backbone for Smart Cities and Facilities Management by retrofitting existing outdoor lighting with an energy efficient platform that can save 50% on energy consumption and reduce maintenance costs by more than half. The low power, self-healing mesh network used to monitor and control the lights (CMS) is also available for sensors and actuators to build out the Internet of Things and allow new smarter services to be layered on over time. This is the only wireless IoT network infrastructure that has its own ROI of less than 3 years - irrespective of potential future benefit from new services or applications.
