A Kalamazoo engineering consulting firm is seeking qualified candidates, with 4+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, for the Mechanical Engineer position. The Mechanical Engineer position is responsible for the engineering of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, educational, healthcare, and community buildings. Specific duties include but are not limited to: Develop mechanical drawings for construction of HVAC systems Perform load calculations to determine system size Ensure mechanical codes and specifications are implemented Initiate and execute frequent exchanges with others to resolve areas of conflict and promote a supportive team approach Perform technical evaluations and reviews of documents Perform field visits to document and verify existing equipment and systems Required Qualifications: B.S.
