The American Institute of Physics (AIP) advances, promotes, and serves the physical sciences for the benefit of humanity. As both a federation of physical science societies and an institute, AIP offers programs, products, and services that empower physical scientists to continue to change our world and advance the frontiers of knowledge. The American Physical Society (APS Physics) is a non-profit membership organization working to advance and diffuse the knowledge of physics through its outstanding research journals, scientific meetings, and education, outreach, advocacy and international activities.
