EI has over 15 years of SAP implementation experience. Starting in 1997 with the implementation of a SAP Document Management system for the engineering documents of a South African power generator we've gone on to deliver hundreds of projects throughout the world. Our focus is on using SAP software to achieve better business outcomes. Our strong team of local consultants is supported by a global team of experts who collaboratively deliver excellent SAP based business solutions. We operate in three niche areas. Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Engineering Informatics can improve the management of information across many business processes. The measure of a good ECM solution is how well information can be accessed to meet the needs of business users. To do this a solution needs to be implemented which aligns with the business process. EI has specific experience of implementing ECM across many business areas. Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) EI implements SAP based PPM solutions, ranging from PPM rapid deployment solutions to SAP Project Systems optimisation. Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) EI advises customers on using SAP to better manage physical assets. With many years of experience in implementing asset management solutions we've found that during an SAP implementation it is important to design and implement asset management solutions that are cognisant of the users and the environment that the system is going to be used in.
