The Engineering Change Lab (ECL) is a multi-year, multi-stakeholder forum to unlock the full potential of the engineering community to contribute to society. More specifically, we are promoting a culture of "Technological Stewardship" within the engineering community. We define Technological Stewardship as behaviors that ensure technology is beneficial for all. The initiative is co-owned by organizations from across the engineering profession in Canada (companies, government, universities, regulators, associations, and non-profits). Senior leaders from these organizations work together over time to advance targeted initiatives and catalyze broader change.
