DoSomething members have clothed half of America’s homeless youth. They’ve cleaned up 3.7 million cigarette butts. They’ve run the world’s largest youth-led sports equipment drive. And more! Civic Nation is a home for changemakers who inspire, educate, and activate people around the issues that will define this generation. We empower people to take on the biggest challenges of our time — strengthening democracy; foster civic engagement, social justice and voter participation; addressing public health crises; fighting for gender equity; and more. Civic Nation drives real, meaningful change by shifting culture, systems, and policy. We organize at every level and serve as a connector — of people and programs, of grassroots activists and leaders of industries and organizations, of ideas and the resources to make them reality. Our goal is to empower individuals, companies, institutions, and organizations to create a more inclusive, equitable America.

Civic Nebraska created a more modern and robust democracy for all Nebraskans. We achieve this through youth civic leadership programs in K-12 schools, civic health initiatives in communities across the state, and ensuring our elections are modern and accessible to all Nebraskans. A modern and robust democracy does not build itself. It takes hard work and dedicated community leaders. It starts on our streets, in our schools, and neighborhoods – and that is where you will find Civic Nebraska.
