Energy Works (Hull) Information

Energy Works is a hybrid power station running on sustainable fuels rather than fossil fuels The Energy Works project will produce enough heat and electricity for 25,000 homes (almost a quarter of the homes in the city). Combining low carbon technologies, ‘Energy Works’ will produce electricity and biomethane by processing approximately 200,000 tonnes of biodegradable organic material diverted from landfill which is currently being transported out of the area.
