ENERGIRIS is Brussels' first citizen cooperative investing in the energy transition. Founded in 2014 by 20 founding members, the cooperative now holds more than 550 citizen members who have collectively invested more than 1 million €. The actual focus lies mainly on photovoltaics, cogeneration and energy-efficiency projects in Brussels. Yet other technologies or products and/or situated in other regions are being looked at with interest too.
