How We Got Where We Are: Orenco was founded in 1981 in response to widespread failures in Oregon’s onsite wastewater systems. Strongwell is the world's leading pultruder of fiber reinforced (FRP) structural components. The privately held company is financially strong, technically advanced in its fields, and has active product, process and market development programs. The corporate headquarters houses a 10,000 square foot laboratory with ASTM test capabilities. Clients include major A&E's, Fortune 500 industrial and commercial firms, leading contractors, and hundreds of other companies in a wide variety of markets. Strongwell's products include FRP and composite structural shapes, plate, fiberglass grating, power poles, building panel systems, handrail systems, ladder and cage systems, bridge decks, cooling tower components, planking systems, and custom shapes.
