In 1974 New Look was founded in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city which has long been a hub of international trade and has a strong tradition in the textile industry. While initially focused on bringing modern knitwear designs to the Greek market through an own-brand fashion label, gradually we moved to specialize in the manufacturing side of knitwear. SKAG provides complete solutions for the specialized and customized stationery needs of businesses. SKAG. was founded in 1956. The company’s line of business is paper converting, making both office products like lever arch files, ring binders, indexes etc and school stationery like exercise books, notebooks, pads etc. from paper, board and plastic. The company has an automated production unit and distribution site of approximately 16.000m2 , just outside Athens, with very easy access to the main motorway and main port with 120 employees in total. There is also another distribution centre in Thessaloniki of 3.200m2 built in 2005, which enables the company to offer better services to its clients in Northern Greece and of course Eastern Europe Slowly but surely over the years, the company developed into market leader in most product categories in Greece, due to the expertise and the investments made in fully automated machinery, bought in the main from Germany, which guarantees standard quality and very quick service, one of the company’s competitive advantages. This has stood the company in very good stead and is what has set us apart from the rest of the Greek competitors. This is also what led to the expansion of the company into foreign markets and currently the company works in 4 of the 5 continents
