Nathan Cave is an award-winning arranger, audio engineer, and vocal percussionist based in Bristol, UK. Whilst studying for a Masters in Mathematics at the University of Bristol, he was the assistant musical director for National A Cappella Champions, The Bristol Suspensions, producing a multitude of live and studio tracks across the years. Where as one would typically deem one university A Cappella group enough, Nathan was part of 6 vocal ensembles, including being the director of one of the only UK-based collegiate beatbox crews, Brizzlebox. Whilst part of the vocal percussion collective, he organised an extremely successful national beatbox tournament held at the university, as well as providing workshops to disadvantaged groups across the county. Nathan was one of the founding audio engineers and one of the directors at The AC Product, one of the UK's only production companies specialising in A Cappella content. Currently, he is a member of the semi-professional beatbox crew Algorhythm, performing live around the UK to sell-out audiences. Nathan offers professional coaching and masterclasses in vocal percussion to schools around the country, assisting students in the preparation for music exams, live performances, or simply just to express themselves. Outside of the A Cappella world, Nathan was an orchestral percussionist in the UK premiere of Philip Glass' Hydrogen Jukebox, and is a classical guitarist.
