La Maison Cattier, à Chigny-les-Roses, est une des rares Maisons de Champagne encore familiale et indépendante. Depuis 2011, la Maison est dirigée par Alexandre Cattier, représentant de la 13ème génération, épaulé par son père Jean-Jacques et ses cousines Agathe et Marie. La famille Cattier est propriétaire de vignes depuis 1650 et cultive aujourd’hui 33 ha majoritairement Premier cru dans la Montagne de Reims. Très attachée à l'environnement, chaque parcelle est cultivée selon le principe de la viticulture raisonnée. En 2015, la Maison Cattier a été certifiée « Haute Valeur Environnementale », au niveau maximal. La Maison est également propriétaire depuis 1951, d’un des rares clos historiques de la Champagne, le Clos du Moulin d’où sont issus ses champagnes de prestige : le Clos du Moulin brut et le Clos du Moulin rosé. Les caves, situées à Rilly-la-Montagne, sont creusées dans la craie sur 3 niveaux, chacun représentant un style architectural différent: Renaissance, Roman et Gothique. Elles comptent parmi les plus profondes de la Champagne (27 m), permettant le vieillissement des vins dans des conditions idéales de conservation: à température constante et à l’abri des turbulences extérieures. En 2006, Alexandre et Jean-Jacques Cattier lancent la marque de luxe Armand de Brignac, une innovation sans pareil dans l’univers du Champagne de par son excellence (assemblage de millésimes), et son packaging novateur. Le succès d’Armand de Brignac est immédiat, spectaculaire et planétaire. Il est aujourd’hui reconnu mondialement comme un des plus prestigieux champagne. La Maison Cattier est présente dans de nombreux pays à travers le monde. Elle réalise 60% de ses ventes à l'international. Les vins sont élaborés par Jean-Jacques et Alexandre Cattier, œnologues, qui ont à cœur de proposer des vins d’excellence: frais, généreux, souples et fruités, caractérisés par une finesse et une élégance exceptionnelles.
