Based in Southampton, New York, En-Consultants was founded in 1980 by Roy Haje, who managed the firm until ownership was transferred in 2011 to Mr. Haje's two longtime associates, Susanna and Robert Herrmann. En-Consultants specializes in coastal environmental planning and permit acquisition and has for more than thirty years successfully managed privately and publicly sponsored development and restoration projects requiring permits from State and Federal agencies, such as the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; and from local regulatory agencies in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, such as the Suffolk County Department of Health Services; the Townships of Southampton, East Hampton, Shelter Island, Southold, Riverhead, Islip, Brookhaven, Hempstead, Huntington, and Babylon; and the Villages of Southampton, Westhampton Beach, North Haven, Sagaponack, Quogue, Lloyd Harbor, and Northport. En-Consultants has also provided environmental consulting and wetlands delineation services to the Village of East Hampton since 1992.
