EMT is proud to be one of Australia’s longstanding Project services companies having withstood the test of time for over a quarter of a century. EMT commenced operations as Electric Motor and Transmission Pty Ltd in Sydney, Australia back in 1990. The business was originally established to service industry needs for maintenance, overhaul, and refurbishment of rotating electrical machines including Electric Motors, Geared Motors, and Generators. Over the decades our business has enjoyed consistent growth leading to the business that we are today. Today EMT has a global presence with manufacturing and sales outlets in China, India & Australia. In recent years the Australian business has been restructured by creating two separate operating companies, EMT which is our projects business and EMT OMEC which is our product sales business. EMT is a fully fledged Australia based Engineering Project business providing engineering services for infrastructure utilities, industry and commercial operations across a wide sphere of disciplines including, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Our capability extends from consulting, through design, drafting services, project management, site contracting, and general engineering as needed for turnkey projects, site upgrades, and shutdown works. EMT OMEC is part of an international group of companies and an Electric Motor manufacturer in its own right. Our product range whilst still including the original repair and service capability now extends across a wide range of EMT OMEC manufactured Electric motors, Geared Motors and Variable speed drives. Our in house engineering facility enables us to provide extended site based maintenance, installation and plant upgrade work scope, servicing Motors, Pumps, Fans, Generators, and most other rotating electrical plant, effectively making EMT OMEC a one stop shop environment.
