Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Employers Benefits Design, Inc. (EBD) was established in 1991 by Cynthia Throm. EBD is an insurance agency specializing in employee benefits. EBD is licensed in Nevada, Arizona, California, Utah and Washington. Clients range in size from small sole proprietorships to large corporations. EBD specializes in the customer service aspects of insurance. Cindy founded the agency in part due to her frustration with the bureaucracy and the "one size fits all" corporate philosophy found in the industry. Insurance has become more complex over the years and managed care has provided many more opportunities for problems to arise and claims to be mishandled. We provide enrollment services to our clients to help better explain the plan requirements and avoid potential problems. We offer customer service support to convert insurance terminology into everyday language and billing audit services to reduce administration headaches.EBD also believes strongly in the education of its clients and their employees regarding the insurance rules and the regulations that govern insurance plans. Federal Law (ERISA) and state laws dictate many of the policies and benefits and how they can be distributed. We attempt to make every client aware of their requirements and the penalties associated with them.
