This soon changed, when in 1988, it was taken over by the current owners who shared the same ambition to make EMPIRE FOODS a successful distribution company. The new ownership saw an immediate need from the food service sector for quality products, economical pricing and good service from an efficient distribution network. As business grew exponentially, so did EMPIRE FOODS' desire to succeed. they soon developed a complete line of refrigerated and frozen bakery needs that coupled with their existing product line, established EMPIRE FOODS as a "one stop shop". EMPIRE FOODS is currently located in Markham and is housed in an over 45, 000 square foot facility. equipped with eight of its own delivery vehicles, EMPIRE FOODS is one of the most respected distribution companies servicing the hospitality and Food Service Sectors in Ontario.
