emotix- creator of India’s first companion robot Miko is a technology driven company focused at developing emotionally intelligent systems. The company stands on tall verticals of Robotics, Internet of things and Artificial Intelligence with a passionate team to deliver its product offerings in the consumer electronics space. emotix was founded in October, 2014 by three IIT Bombay alumni, and is today driven by a an expansive team of roboticists, academicians, and neuropsychologists. What captured our attention was the emotional needs of the Indian consumer. Over time we identified and validated 30+ emotional needs in the everyday life of Indian consumers. Over two years and with a global team of over 30 engineers, mathematicians, artists and neuropsychologists across India, Russia and Korea, we have successfully developed a Companion Robot for use of children from the age-group of 5 years and above.
