EMLI is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization incorporated in the state of Maine. EMLI supports evidence-based intervention programs for families from low-income and poverty situations that encourage early math and language skills development. EMLI partners with early childhood centers in Maine to offer the Kindergarten Mathematics Readiness Program (KMRP). The KMRP supports preschool children by engaging young learners and their families in “math-play” activities including read alouds and storytelling.
