Emirates Gridiron League Information

Our vision is to make American Football one of the mainstream sports in the United Arab Emirates played at a high level of competition, professionalism and with a fan experience that encourages families to come out to cheer their friends, co-workers and people from their community. What makes the EGL unique is that is a league that caters to men’s level (Ages +18). For many athletes, this is the first time they’ve played the sport. Many have been long-time fans who have only seen American football on TV. This league provides you an opportunity to get off the couch and get on the field! Some players may have had previous experience, but they haven’t had the opportunity to play until now. Like many sports, we want to provide the level of competition that develops strong bonds between teammates, and a strong community that brings people together from all skill levels and nationalities. More importantly, we are giving individuals the chance to have the American Football experience that they never had before.
