Emergency Medicine Associates, P.A., P.C. (EMA) is a regional group of Physicians and Mid-Level Providers who practice at 21 hospitals in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and West Virginia. Formed in 1971, EMA is the largest provider of Emergency Services in our region (by hospital affiliation) and is widely regarded as an exceptional provider of these services. Starting with just one hospital in 1971, EMA has grown to a multi-hospital group. EMA’s Management Team meets with hospital administrators frequently to obtain candid and timely feedback on our performance as well as to strategize for the future.
