Emerald Rose Information

Emerald Rose exists to improve the lives of adults dealing with mental illness through advocacy, education, and reducing the associated stigma that often prohibits people from getting the care they need. Over 2 million Ohio adults have experienced life with a mental disorder in 2009 and nearly 600,000 were diagnosed with a serious mental illness. Less than one third of these individuals receive care. Emerald Rose began taking action in our own community by embarking on a capital campaign to build Emerald Fields of Troy modeled after the successful Hopeful Therapeutic Farming community in Mesopotamia, Ohio. It is the primary focus and direction of our energies for the next 3 years.
