Emerald Coast Estates is a family owned and operated "55 and Better" retirement community located on the Brookings-Harbor "bench" between the beautiful Pacific Ocean and the backdrop of the Coast Range. Our gated retirement community of manufactured homes is interspersed with natural wetlands, water features, green common areas and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding hills. Brookings-Harbor has become a popular retirement area. People are drawn here by the moderate climate (the area is widely known as the "banana belt" of Oregon), the pristine rivers close by, the extraordinary fishing, the Port of Brookings-Harbor (known as one of the safest on the west coast), the redwoods near by, and the striking panoramic views. Our original concept is to provide an opportunity for those "55 and Better" to either retire here or be able to have a second home in this special area. Our goal is to have homes with top notch quality and yet be affordable. We have a first class community center where residents can meet, socialize, swim or just relax & watch tv.
