emberlight was founded to create simple and easy to use smart lighting. The emberlight smart socket, which turns any light into a smart light, launched on Kickstarter in July 2014, and was featured on CNET, Yahoo, TechCrunch, Huffington Post and Popular Mechanics. The product eventually made it to the shelves of Target stores nationwide, in addition to being sold online at Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot and Target. Unfortunately, emberlight shutdown in November 2017.
