Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Chisinau Information

Polish Embassy in Chisinau is a diplomatic mission of Poland to Moldova. The Embassy is headed by the Ambassador who represents in Moldova the President of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Government. The Embassy comprises of 4 different sections. Political and Economic Section is responsible for matters concerning bilateral relations between the Republic of Poland and Moldova with the exception of non-political aspects relating to defence, the economy and cultural and consular issues. Consular Section is responsible for passport, visas, legal and citizenship matters. Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy has been established in order to deal with the economic cooperation between Poland and Moldova. It serves as a first point of contact for Moldavian companies looking for business partners in Poland, as well as assist Irish businesses in their various activities in Poland. And finally the Administrative and Financial Section is responsible for dealing with the administrative tasks that are essential for the proper operation of the Embassy as a public office.
