Our Story At Embark Labs, we believe the purpose of education is to inspire kids to discover what they love doing. Increasingly, more people recognize the importance of learning to code as a means for kids to understand the world around them and learn how to think, design and create their future. We are on a mission to empower kids to become creative problem solvers through learning computer science and coding. With over 30+ years of experience in education we know the key to improving learning outcomes is empowering educators to do what they do best. Our innovative program combines an engaging curriculum with the support educators want and need to create vibrant learning experiences. Jessie Arora , Founder & CEO, has spent the last 10+ years focused on the intersection of education and technology with experiences at Google, Citizen Schools & Stanford Graduate School of Ed. Athena Raney is a Tech Educator for a public elementary school in Santa Cruz. She has earned her MA in Technology Management from National University, BA in Business Administration from San Francisco State University, and is undertaking her California Teaching Credential from CalState TEACH.
