Embark Education Information

We create learner-centered experiences for adolescent students at Embark, the micro-middle school, where we support youth learners to courageously inquire, engage, and discover a sense of self in an embedded, integrated environment. We explore the dynamic intersection of business, community, and education through our enterprise, Pinwheel Coffee, where our adolescent students’ learning has a real-world impact. We provide space for learner-centered educators to gather at the Iterative Space, where we support like-minded individuals and organizations in their work, as well as host a residency for elevating and honoring professional educators. Our work in youth learning, enterprise, and adult learning explores what a learner-centered approach can look like in a variety of environments and contexts. It’s work that we are deeply passionate about, committed to, and excited to share with those who are curious to learn more and join us on the journey of sparking a widespread shift toward a learner-centered paradigm.
